Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonus + 21% annual salary bonus


About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a forward-thinking provider to recruit a passionate Registered Manager for a 3-bed children's residential home in Leicestershire, specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the setup and operation of the new home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, The Children Act 1989, and Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional, child-focused care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Lead and mentor a team, providing training, performance reviews, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Develop care plans and strategic initiatives to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and service development to ensure sustainability.
  • Build strong relationships with external agencies to support safeguarding and care quality.
  • Act as a positive role model, creating trusting relationships that drive recovery and growth.
About You
  • Essential:
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar environment at a senior level.
    • Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce; achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's Management).
    • Strong knowledge of The Children Act 1989, Children's Homes Regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
    • Experience with budgets and financial management.
    • Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for on-call duties.
    • A committed leader passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children.
  • Desirable:
    • A track record of achieving high Ofsted ratings.
