Job Title: Dual Registered Manager - Children's Residential Homes
Location: Redbridge, London
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and expanding provider of children's residential care, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to take on a dual-site leadership role based in Redbridge.

The successful candidate will initially oversee a well-established 3-bed EBD home, currently rated Good by Ofsted, before extending their leadership to include a newly developed 4-bed home set to open in the coming months.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and ambitious manager who thrives in both operational leadership and service development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a stable, high-performing 3-bed EBD home, ensuring ongoing compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

  • Prepare and support the registration and operational setup of the second 4-bed children's home

  • Provide effective leadership and development to two care teams, promoting a culture of safeguarding, professionalism and therapeutic practice

  • Monitor, evaluate and improve standards of care, staff performance, and home environments

  • Ensure that both homes consistently meet Ofsted expectations and strive for Outstanding outcomes

  • Develop care planning, safeguarding protocols, and team training in alignment with each child's individual needs

  • Collaborate effectively with external professionals, local authorities and families

  • Work closely with the Responsible Individual to drive continuous improvement across both services

Requirements

Essential:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Registered Manager role within a children's residential setting

  • Strong working knowledge of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage inspections and improve outcomes for children and young people

  • Experience with EBD and trauma-informed care

  • Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience managing more than one home or supporting a new registration

  • Background in therapeutic or trauma-informed models of care

  • Ability to grow into an Operational or Regional Manager role in the future

Working Pattern & Package

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (with flexibility and on-call responsibilities)

  • Salary: £60,000 per annum
