About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is delighted to work with a respected provider to recruit an inspiring Registered Manager for a 4-bed children's residential home in Wolverhampton, rated "Good" by Ofsted. With a supportive Deputy Manager in place, this role offers the chance to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), fostering independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the home's operations, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Drive strategic development and daily management to maintain and enhance the home's "Good" Ofsted rating.
- Lead and mentor staff, providing training, appraisals, and organising work patterns to deliver therapeutic care.
- Build trusting relationships with young people to support their recovery, growth, and positive outcomes.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and service improvements effectively.
- Collaborate with external professionals and agencies to uphold safeguarding and care standards.
- Act as a positive role model, creating a nurturing environment for both children and staff.
About You
- Essential:
- At least 3 years' experience in a senior role within a similar children's residential setting.
- Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce; achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's Management).
- In-depth knowledge of The Children Act 1989, Children's Homes Regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance.
- Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for on-call duties.
- A passionate leader committed to achieving the best for young people.
- Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager.
- A history of maintaining or achieving strong Ofsted ratings.
