This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team, deliver outstanding care, and shape the lives of young people in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Drive strategic planning and service development to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people.
- Lead, mentor, and train staff, overseeing work patterns, appraisals, and QCF Level 3 care-focused training.
- Foster trusting relationships with children to support their emotional growth and recovery.
- Act as a positive role model, creating a safe and supportive environment for both staff and young people.
- Oversee budgets, financial performance, and safeguarding to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with external professionals to promote the well-being of young people.
About You
- Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting.
- Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce; achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's Management).
- Strong understanding of The Children Act 1989, Children's Homes Regulations, and safeguarding protocols.
- Proven experience in budget and financial management.
- Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for on-call duties.
- A proactive, enthusiastic leader with a hands-on approach to people management.
- A track record of delivering high Ofsted ratings.
