Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £32,000 - £34,200 per annum + Sleep-In Allowance
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (including weekends and sleep-ins)

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Manager in maintaining top-tier care standards, ensuring alignment with Ofsted regulations and organisational goals.
- Contribute to the home's strategic vision, identifying opportunities to enhance care delivery and service quality.
- Guide and inspire a team of care professionals, providing mentorship, managing rotas, and overseeing training initiatives.
- Deliver personalised, therapeutic support to children, fostering resilience, growth, and meaningful change.
- Serve as a role model, building strong, trust-based relationships with children and staff to support daily needs.
- Support budget oversight, rota planning, and coordination of resources to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold safeguarding protocols and Ofsted compliance to prioritise the well-being of young people.
- Embrace a flexible schedule, including shifts, weekends, and sleep-in duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Essential: At least 2 years' experience in a residential children's home setting.
- Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
- Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- In-depth understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding practices, and children's residential care standards.
- Proactive, enthusiastic leader with a collaborative and hands-on management style.
- Experience in budget management and rota coordination.
- Skilled at forging positive relationships with children, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Resilient and adaptable, with a passion for therapeutic care delivery.
