Salary: £29,200 - £30,400 per annum + £3,000 - £8,000 per annum for sleep-ins
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours per week)
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence required

About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is delighted to collaborate with an established provider of innovative care and education services to recruit a Senior Support Worker for a children's residential home in Thringstone. This role offers the chance to join a supportive team dedicated to delivering outstanding care to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), helping them lead happy and fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support, fostering recovery, growth, and lasting change for young people.
  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers, acting as a positive role model to ensure exceptional care standards.
  • Meet the daily living needs of children, creating a safe and nurturing home environment.
  • Build trusting relationships with young people and colleagues to make a meaningful impact.
  • Support the Registered Manager in delivering therapeutic, tailored care for each child.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
About You
  • Essential:
    • Minimum of 12 months' experience in the care sector, ideally in a children's residential setting.
    • Naturally caring, flexible, and resilient with a passion for supporting young people.
    • Full UK Driving Licence.
    • Ability to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
    • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
    • Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within a children's home.
