Salary: £31,200 - £32,400 per annum + £3,000 - £6,000 per annum for sleep-ins
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours per week)
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence required

Leader Recruitment Group is proud to collaborate with a respected provider of care and education services to recruit a dedicated Senior Support Worker for a children's residential home in Sudbury. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional, person-centred care to young people, supporting their emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Guide and mentor support workers, setting a positive example to uphold high care standards.
  • Foster a safe, loving home environment that promotes recovery, growth, and confidence.
  • Build meaningful, trusting relationships with young people to support their development.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to deliver tailored, therapeutic care.
  • Contribute to a supportive team culture, ensuring every child feels valued and empowered.
About You
  • Essential:
    • At least 12 months' experience in the care sector, within a children's residential setting.
    • A caring, adaptable, and resilient nature with a passion for helping young people thrive.
    • Full UK Driving Licence.
    • Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
    • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
    • Experience in a senior or mentoring role in a care setting.
