Support Worker - Children's Residential Home
Location: Daventry
Salary: £12.21 per hour + £50 per sleep-in
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Minimum 1 sleep-in per week

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We're looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join a children's residential home in Daventry that provides care and stability to children with emotional and behavioural needs.

This role is ideal for individuals with a caring nature, resilience, and a commitment to supporting children in a structured and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to children and young people

• Assist with routines, personal care, and recreational activities

• Build positive and trusting relationships

• Promote emotional well-being and encourage independence

• Maintain accurate records and reports

• Follow safeguarding and care policies at all times

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years' experience in a care setting (children's residential experience desirable but not essential)

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including a minimum of 1 sleep-in per week

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Resilience and the ability to manage challenging situations calmly

• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people

Desirable:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)

• Drivers welcome but not essential
