Children's Home Manager - EBD Service

Location: Spalding
Salary: £50,000 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus + 21% Annual Bonus + On-Call Payments
Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has opened for a compassionate and motivated Children's Home Manager to lead a nurturing 4-bed home in Spalding, currently supporting 2 young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets the individual needs and developmental goals of each young person

  • Lead and develop a stable and skilled team, providing regular supervision, training, and mentoring

  • Manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements

  • Promote trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to care

  • Collaborate with professionals, families, and stakeholders to maintain effective care planning and safeguarding

  • Manage budgets, resources, and the overall performance of the home

  • Participate in the on-call rota and support staff outside standard hours when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar residential childcare setting at a senior level

  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)

  • Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare

  • Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation including the Children Act 1989 and Children's Homes Regulations

  • Budget management experience

  • Committed to delivering positive outcomes for children and young people

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Willingness to work flexibly and take part in on-call cover
