Children's Home Manager - EBD Service
Location: Spalding
Salary: £50,000 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus + 21% Annual Bonus + On-Call Payments
Full-Time | Permanent
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened for a compassionate and motivated Children's Home Manager to lead a nurturing 4-bed home in Spalding, currently supporting 2 young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets the individual needs and developmental goals of each young person
Lead and develop a stable and skilled team, providing regular supervision, training, and mentoring
Manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
Promote trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to care
Collaborate with professionals, families, and stakeholders to maintain effective care planning and safeguarding
Manage budgets, resources, and the overall performance of the home
Participate in the on-call rota and support staff outside standard hours when required
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar residential childcare setting at a senior level
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation including the Children Act 1989 and Children's Homes Regulations
Budget management experience
Committed to delivering positive outcomes for children and young people
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to work flexibly and take part in on-call cover
