Wolverhampton
Up to £50,000 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus + 21% Annual Bonus
Full-Time | Permanent | 32 Days Annual Leave (Incl. Bank Holidays)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and committed Registered Manager to lead a well-established 4-bed children's residential home in Wolverhampton. The home is currently rated "Good" by Ofsted and benefits from the support of an experienced Deputy Manager already in post.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care to all young people in the home

  • Lead, support, and develop a skilled team, promoting a positive, safe and nurturing environment

  • Develop care plans and therapeutic strategies focused on positive outcomes

  • Work collaboratively with external professionals and stakeholders

  • Maintain compliance with all Ofsted regulations, policies and legislation

  • Oversee financial and operational performance of the home

  • Promote safeguarding and the wellbeing of all young people

  • Take part in the on-call rota when required

What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior role within children's residential care

  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or willingness to work towards

  • Strong understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and the Children Act 1989

  • Experience managing budgets and home operations

  • Full UK driving licence

  • A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children
