Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Home
Kidlington
£33,664 - £34,881 per annum
Additional £3,000 - £6,000 per year for sleep-ins (£62.64 per sleep-in)
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required

What You'll Do:
Support the Registered Manager and Service Manager in daily operations
Lead a caring, professional staff team focused on therapeutic care
Mentor and supervise staff, lead training initiatives, and manage team rotas
Provide safe, structured, and nurturing environments for children aged 8-17
Support development plans, ensure compliance, and help drive continuous improvement
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals
What You'll Need:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential children's home
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) - essential
Working knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted legislation
Experience managing rotas and contributing to budget control
A hands-on, people-focused leadership style
Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins
Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
